Southampton Railway near Hook Pit farm, Kingsworthy, Hampshire to Salisbury,
Wiltshire, plans published 1838 The 8 sheets of deposited plans of the proposed line show plans of thr oute, elevations along the route, cross sections at road crossings, etc, drawn by Francis Giles, civil engineer. The route was to run through the parishes of Kings Worthy, Headbourne Worthy, Littleton and Harestock, Crawley, Little Somborne, Kings Somborne, Bossington, Mottisfont, East Tytherley, and East Dean, in Hampshire, then into Wiltshire to Salisbury. |
